Quite a few of you will already know about Denis Lipman and his wonderfully charming book A Yank Back to England: The Prodigal Tourist Returns. Strangely enough for someone who spends her time touring around, taking photos and blogging about it, I had never read a travel memoir before; but over the past year, I came to forge a friendship with Denis and his wife Frances through their blogs Englands Rents, Rants & Raves and A Slide of Life. Fast forward to Christmas time and I was rather impatiently waiting for Amazon to deliver my copy of the book.I have to say, I loved it and I just know that all of the anglophiles, travellers and expats among you will love it too.
